Success Story

Rise and Shine is CAS project was initiated by this year’s Grade 12 students, Rayna Salam and Peya Mynoddin, which has offered an after school arts program for the children of FFFP (Friends for the Poor People School, affiliated with Weekend School). This year their leadership roles have been passed down to Grade 10 students, Nahean Tanisha Khan and Grade 11 student, Abraar Tariq. Our project aims to provide an artistic education in a country where Music, Art, and Theatre are not a part of the core primary curriculum and hopes to bring forth a change by delivering a creative outlet to students who otherwise have not been exposed to a quality-based, comprehensive arts education.
